I wish my husband, daughter, and I could purchase a home. It's funny, but I think my husband and I bonded so well because we have similar pasts. Neither of us had a stable home growing up. I used to joke that I had gone to twelve different schools by the time I was in the twelveth grade. My family moved a lot because we were poor. My husband moved around a lot as a child too. His mother passed away when he was four and he grew up living with various relatives. We'd laid out a plan to get out of debt, but then my husband lost his job. He has end-stage renal failure and is forced to sometimes take a lot of time off from work because of illness. I believe that he was recently terminated because he had to take more than four months off of work due to his dialysis access being infected. When he returned to work he was shunned and eventually fired for "excessive internet usage." This came after four years of employment with this company and no prior disciplinary action in his pervious positions with the same company. He had been promoted three times. His loss of work reduced our household income by half. Sam was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure when he was about 19 years old. He's a trooper. He's a loving father to our beautiful daughter Erin--who was born 3 months premature, but you wouldn't know that today (she's two). I wish that we could have a home and that's my prayer everyday and my focus. My husband has given so much to our family. Even when he is tired or really ill sometimes he won't let us know. There was a time when he worked two jobs and he had walking pnemonia. He basically worked until he was disoriented and was forced to go to the hospital because he could not breathe on his own. He has a wonderful work ethic. He has always believed in working hard and I just believe that if you work hard you can recognize your dreams. I don't know if this wish list thing is real, but maybe this is just more of an expression of prayer and a request that someone out there pray with us and for us that God will have mercy on us and bless us with a home for our daughter. I wish there was someone who could help me with Gastric Bypass. I just lost my Mother Nov 8 2003 due to OB. She was only 57 years old. I know I am going to end up like her if I don't get the help. I am 32 5'4" & 270lb very OB. My husband got laid off in 2003 and we lost everything Health Ins , are Car and Suv. We are doing what we can to save our home. I work but make very little. I maybe laid off from mine if I don't do something. I stand alot and that is painful on my back and legs. I have My 3 Son's and wish I could do more with them with out stopping to breath. i wish that i have a brand new laptop computer, because i apply for a loan from dell, gateway, etc. they turn me down, because i don't have the credit like others, it don't seem fair for poor people work for their life to put food on the table and paid bills. I am a 47 yr old former AS400 programmer who has not programmed in over 3 yrs. It wasn't due to the lack of effort on my part. It was the economy and FACT that companies just don't want to hire almost 50 yr olds. I have worked in warehouses, gas stations etc. ever since to try and make a living and form some sort of career. But, these are dead end jobs and offer little hope of ever advancing. When I apply for other positions you can guess it i'm either over qualified because of my programming background or under qualified due to my recent work history. Needless to say with a wife and two sons the bills are piling up faster than I can pay them. My wish - that some commpany take a chance on the old man and in return get a great programmer who is dedicated, hard working and loyal. I am trying hard to get into a home, I have okay credit but massive debt and my husband has poor credit and massive debt. I have consolidated all my debt and am working hard to get into a home, but I believe that even if I got approved it wouldn't be large enough for our family. My husband and I are good hard working people. We are raising 4 children, 3 are ours and the other was left in our care because of issues in his family. We currently rent a home in Seattle, but we really need our own. I'm currently enrolled in school to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse and both me and my husband work, but it's not enough. My wish is to get into a 4 bedroom or more home, (either FSBO, foreclosure, quick claim deed), in Seattle or surrounding area and have monthly payments we can afford. Thanks for listening. My name is Anna and i'm 18 years old. I have a father name Felix that is blind, diabetic, he's 54 years old and been watching wrestling for over 40 years. My father LOVESSSSS watching wrestling, he never misses a show. I wish for a Laptop Computer! After five years of marriage and two wonderful boys and being a stay home for for the last year, my husband left us. I wish I had the $3500 I will need to keep my home. My ex got into trouble with drugs and now our 3 children and one of hers live with me. I got three months behind on house payments because the state keeps taking child support money from my paycheck even though I am providing a home for the children.
