I wish I had the money to buy a small home for me and my husband. He is disabled and cannot work because of a heart condition and I work forty plus hours a week. We are in our sixties and don't feel we should go in debt at this age. we have worked very hard all our lives and lost our family farm due to my husband's illness. I do wish for a bigger house because we live in a very small old mobile home on our daughter property. There is no room for family dinners and very little room for our two grandchildren. In life we all have our ups and downs but we still keep trying. I have went from a 4000 a month salary to 700 a month widows pension because I got hurt on my job. So of course everything has become a downhill rollercoaster. I have a 14 yr old beautiful daughter that really does not deserve too lose her home of 10 years but what can I say but the sherrifs are coming on the 15th of july. If I ever needed a wish to come true right noe would be the time. I would ask OPRAH but I know this wonderful woman is probably swamped. I have been indepndent my whole life because my parents died early so my back up is in heaven and my well to do brother I guess is just too busy for his little sis and neice. I guess thats life huh. Anyway if there is someone out there that understands my situation and can help us please feel free to do so it will be more than greatly appreciated. Sincerely yours

The only thing I wish for is a cheap laptop, one that you are getting ready to throw out, you know the one. All I ask is that it has a cdrom drive on it that can recognize cd-r cd's. I need it for college, but I cant afford one.No scholarship and I have to pay all the tuition myself.Already working 2 jobs and can barely afford my car payments. Anything would be greatly apreciated. I will pray for you all.

Hi, I recently had major back surgery and I am going to have more. Most of my day is spent in bed trying to get some schooling done. The problem is I can't get to the computer so it would be great if I could get an up to date laptop so I can study right from my bed and if I needed to resource anything I could do it from my bed and not try and tackle any stairs again. So if anyone out there would like to give me a laptop it would be greatly appreciated.

I never had anything given to me. I go to school and my home computer is kind of old and some times never works. My parents can't affored a new laptop for me or themselves at this point. I wish I could get one. I have lost so many files in the computer I've lost count. I can't affored a laptop, and I wish someone could give one to me. I would be so greatful.

Hi I am a disabled person In dire need of an automobile. I Live with my disabled mother to share expences. she has a car but the transmition went out.so please some that is reading this can you tell me or direct me to someone that can help. we need to get to the doctor and to the grocery store.we live In a rural area and there is no busses.and we are not disabled enough to get access transportation to our home. so a car or money for a car Is needed soon. so could someone please help.sincerly Dan F.W.Hawley

At this point i have nowhere o turn, I and my wife have 5 kids and one due in november, we have stuggled with bills and debt for the past 5 years till now were at the point of being evicted, our power turned off, and so on , our car is in pawn as is everything that we ever held precious, we,ve nothing left, no alternatives, nowhere to turn, sure we have medicaid for doctors and a source for food buit noway to pay out our debts, my wife works because she has the higher education, i stay home to take care of my children, one has a very serious kidney condition that requires my prescence, we can,t afford to put them in day care or even have a babysitter so that i can work, it,s like we,ve went below the water and ca,nt get out, though we are a house full of faith, what we go through daily is depressing, I beg anyone out there if you can at all help our family we would be forever indebted. please, we have nowhere else to turn.

Hi. I am a true-blue Scorpion, to begin with. I came here all the way from India to study only to find myself not performing well enough, because of financial difficulties and a new system of education. This is hurting not only my ego, but it is also pinching on my mother's pocket. What do I do? I am not getting any jobs in Melbourne either.

I wish I could get a break once in a while...If nothing else this will make me feel better getting this off my chest...I was raped at 15..My mom died when I was 25...My dad when I was 27..I am married and have 4 beautiful children...I work hard..Everytime I think we are getting ahead, something bad happens...My father in law dies, My husband breaks his back helping his mom move...I have major surgery..Now while neither of us are working, at Christmas time we all get the flu..My 3 year old almost dies..They were out of vaccines..Thnak the lord he is okay now..Then, we think we might be able to buy our first home..We are so excited..But, no, because of our medical bills, our credit is ruined..I have paid many of them, but I am still out of work due to health problems...My husband is now forced to look for a second job..His back is still healing..What I want to know is why cant people give others a chance..We could have paid that mortage very easily..But,now we may never be able to buy a home...I dont believe in bankruptcy in less it is really necessary...I have looked for financial help..No one has funds, I have asked for food, I do get that,but, not enough to feed 6..I asked for help paying for my medicine...I dont qualify..So, my honest wish is for someone to give us a chance to prove ourselves...Thank you

Dear friends,
The mother and father I had are gone. Gone to prescription drug abuse. Years ago my mom suffered a back injury requiring her to be on prescription pain relievers for the rest of her life. Over a period of time the strongest pills at their dosage level were not comfoting her at all. She began to take more nd more at a time until she started buying them on the street running up huge credit card debt in my dad's name. We have had her in and out of rehabs, pain management, and counseling facilities until all our funds are gone. My dad's credit is ruined and he just yesterday got sued by one of the credit card companies. My dad is now on medication for depression and out of money. They are both in their late sixties and not in good health. I am torn apart and wish for them to have their money matters resolved so that they can get proper care and live out their remaining years in peace.
