I am submitting this wish in order to provide for myself and my 3 year old daughter. Many years ago I found out that I would not be able to reproduce a biological child. I always knew I wanted adoption to part of my life, so making a decision to adopt was not a difficult one. However, it was financially and emotionally draining. Ups and downs with being matched with a child, the the birth mother deciding to keep her child. Three years ago the lord blessed me by connecting a wonderful birth mother with me. My dream of being a mother came true with the birth of a beautiful baby girl. She is truly the light of my life. Two years ago I was involved in a major car accident and had to have vertebrae fusion in my neck twice, and shoulder surgery twice. I suffured many broken bones from the accident. I was unable to care for myself for several months, which meant not caring for my daughter. I was blessed once again, as my family members took my daughter and I in to their homes and cared for us. After several months of healing I was able to return to work part time, with limitation. Thank GOD for understanding bosses and co workers. As my healing progressed I was able to do more until I finally could work full time and care for my daughter! After the accident I tried to resolve my claim with the other party's insurance company; to no avail. Finally, after 6 months I turned the case over to an attorney; he has been trying to reach resolution with the insurance company; again, to no avail. My case is now in the court system. My attorney tells me it could be another year before a settlement is reached. Needless to say expenses from not only the adoption of my daughter and medical bills have lead to finacial hardship. I am a single mom doing my absolute best to provide a good life for my daughter. So, my wish is to be able to pay off a few bills and have a couple of hundred dollars in the bank .
